The final new episode airing on December 4, 1976. Responding to the demands of fans who still had rosy memories of the series’ salad days, NBC continued to rerun the show until September 1977. 5 months later, NBC reran Land of the Lost from February 4 to September 2 of 1978, at which time the series was absorbed into the daily syndicated rerun strip Kroft Super Stars. Then, in 1985, came the Renaissance. During yet another dry spell in the world of live-action kidvid, CBS decided to telecast selected episodes of Land of the Lost opposite the competing Saturday A.M. cartoon fests The Littles and Mr. T. Ratings for these-decade-old reruns went through the roof: The series’ original fans were happy to welcome back an old friend, while younger viewers, not jet jaded by the likes of Jurassic Park, were astounded to discover that a show their older brothers and sisters had enjoyed could actually be so good. CBS ran the vintage episodes from June to December of 1985, then showed them again to even greatest response from June to September of 1987, opposite ABC’s Star Wars: Ewoks and NBC’s animated version of Punky Brewster, called It's Punky Brewster.

records use to cost $5-10 bucks that was a steal. now they cost $15-60 damn dollars and that is very outrageous inflation has ruined vinyl and the artist are making it worse because when they release merch they want you to pay fucking $35 FOR A SINGLE LP LIKE WHAT god i hope inflation ends soon because vinyls need to be at a reasonable price im tired of paying 20 bucks or 30 bucks for one lp

My idea when this movie was made there was no cell phones and no cell phone ear piece. Parts or anything like we have now and my favorite part of this movie is when the phone rang and she answered the phone and it got on her ear and stuck on her ear and now visualy that bug looks like the same size and shape as the blue tooth appliance for. The cell phone as people wear on their ears just like that when they use the phone now which visualy looks just like that in this movie absolutly fantastic

One of my favorite commercial jingles ever. Though I prefer the version before they tried to fit Peter-Paul in there but haven't found that one on YT. The first version from the earlier 70's was "Almond Joy's got nuts; Mounds don't." Sometimes jingles flow better the original way they were done. Still love this one though... and the candy bar itself.

i grew up in the 80s and 90s. what a great time to be a kid. the 80s and 90s were peak humanity, and it'll never be that good again. sad, that we've regressed, our best times are behind us.

They should run this commercial on tv in 2024 why not it's a good one.

As a kid I loved that moment at 0:38 when it sounds like a deep bass human voice (Twiki?) saying "no" (or what we would now hear as "d'oh").

Say what you want about the song not being as good as the original. There is a more eerie feeling about how you get the dinos then goes straight to LAND OF THE LOST w/o the SID AND MARTY KROFFT PRESENTS. Like you're not taken out of the tone or atmosphere of the show.
